POWDER COATING AFTERCARE
Powder Coated metals provide an exceedingly durable finish, but as with any final coating its life can be further extended with a touch of care. This is especially important when the powder coated article is exposed to environmental conditions and doubly so in marine or costal situations.
INSTALLATION
It's essential that during installation, the powder coated product is protected from damage from bumps and scraped to abrasive contacts with brick. A damaged coating will allow foreign bodies such as grit, dust and moisture to get beneath the finish and reduce the life of the coating.
MAINTENANCE
Keeping the finish of your powder coated product is quite straightforward. Environmental grime should be removed on occasion, 3 monthly in normal circumstances but more often in costal or marine environments. A simple wash with a neutral detergent and rinse with clean water should suffice.
